What's Happening?

Welcome to the What's Happening page where we share some of the things we have been doing in the St. Paul Learning Commons!

Welcome back to the LC! Mrs. Harnden has some super exciting activities planned for the 2024/2025 school year! Check out this page to see what we are up to!

September 30 is Orange Shirt Day. Here at St. Paul, we are committed to Truth and Reconciliation. In the Learning Commons, our students will be learning about why Every Child Matters and participating in Orange Shirt Day activities.

The LC officially opened on September 9th for classes to start visiting! In grades 1-4 we are reading "The Secret Life of Library Books" to help go over our library rules.

We are also starting to learn about genres. Mrs. Harnden has created a special board that will help us identify what part of the library we will find the stories she reads.

In grades 7-8, we are starting the year learning about AI and how it is impacting our world. Can you tell if the image below is generated by AI? Our intermediates can!
